HOAE Frequently Asked Questions
Thank you for applying to a Health Science program at Georgian College for Fall 2010. Admission testing for Health Science programs is mandatory. Testing will cover academic aptitude, spelling, reading comprehension, science and vocational aptitude. Test results are used for selection and will only be released online to applicants as of March 31, 2010 (see Web Information System Instructions included in your acknowledgement letter). Selection is based both on academic grades and results from the Health Occupations Aptitude Examination (HOAE).
If you are testing for more than one Health Science program at Georgian, you only need to test once however you will need to pay an administration fee for each additional program. We will accept HOAE test results from other colleges however it is your responsibility to ensure your test scores reach Georgian College by February 27, 2010.
