The student will learn safety procedures that will minimize the risk of illness and injuries in the workplace. Kitchen and fire safety and lifting techniques are covered. A certificate of attendance for Workplace Hazardous Information System (WHMIS) training is included. Emergency First Aid and Heart Saver CPR is included in this module. A certificate in the National Food Safety Training Program (NFSTP) is included
