Since 2006, Dianne Martin has been Executive Director of the Registered Practical Nurses’ Association of Ontario, whose mandate is to advocate on behalf of the province’s 30,000 Registered Practical Nurses. Beyond overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operation, Dianne provides leadership and vision regarding the roles of Ontario’s health care team. As both an RN and an RPN, Dianne brings a unique understanding to her position. Previously, Dianne was seconded to the Ontario Ministry of Health as Senior Policy Analyst, assisting in developing new policies covering provincial nursing practice. Prior to undertaking administrative roles, Dianne spent 26 years in bedside nursing.
