Home Game Events Team

The Events team is required to be on-site for all home games. Members of the team need to be able to manage a variety of details that include the provision of a safe and enjoyable venue for our spectators along with ensuring all aspects of our in-game operations are running efficiently for the teams participating. Staff duties include such tasks as: providing visiting teams with facility access, set up and ensure equipment is in place and in good working order: providing crowd control where required, assist with ticket taking, assist with half time promotional set ups.

Varsity Home Game Minor Officials

Minor officials are required to be scheduled to be on site for all home game. Duties include: compiling statistics, operation of game clock, game spotter, official scorer and videotaping. Individuals hired must be available on weekends and on several Wednesdays when home games are scheduled.

Varsity Home Game Announcer

The in-game announcer will be the voice of Grizzly athletics during many of the varsity events on campus that include: basketball and volleyball. Announcer may also be required to run music during the event.

Varsity Team Managers

Team Managers are required for many sports to work with our Head Coaches and Intercollegiate Coordinator during our home games. Team managers need to be attentive to all details involved with hosting games and may include involvement with practices and providing support to the team’s travel arrangements for an away game.

Mascot Entertainer – Growler

Be the famous mascot at various varsity games and special events, entertaining and working to promote the fun spirit of Athletics. Individuals selected must be highly energetic, comfortable performing in front of large audiences, and in good physical shape. Candidates should be widely available on weeknights and weekends.
