Toronto, ON – The Georgian College volleyball teams picked up a sweep over the George Brown Huskies in their final league game prior to the exam break.
It was a total team effort for the Georgian women, as they won in straight sets, 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-23) over the Huskies. Natalie Buck led the Grizzlies with 10 points (6 kills, 4 aces), while Hannah Campbell added 9 (6 kills, 2 aces and a block).
The Grizzlies finish off the first semester of play with a 6-4 record.
The men defeated the Huskies 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 16-25, 25-21) to move to 7-3 at the break.
Mike Hammond led the Grizz with 18 points (13 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces), while Josh Deppisch had 11 points (8 kills, 3 blocks).
