Barrie, ON - The Georgian Grizzlies men’s basketball team evened their record to 3-3 with an 87-63 win over the Cambrian Golden Shield on Friday night.
After a disappointing offensive performance on Wednesday night in a 77-51 loss to the George Brown Huskies, Georgian shot 57% from the field in the first half to take a 45-29 lead at half-time and cruise home to the victory.
Ben Dance had a game-high 19 points, while Tevin Goodridge added 14 and Jesse Amaral 12. Jevon Francis grabbed 11 rebounds to go along with his 7 points.
The Grizzlies will head to Ottawa next weekend for games against Algonquin and La Cite.
