BARRIE, Ontario – The Georgian Grizzlies are ranked No. 3 in the latest Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) men’s golf rankings.

The Grizzlies finished last year with a bronze medal at the CCAA championships held in Kamloops, British Columbia.

This year’s squad, led by head coach Katie Ferguson, features returnees Nolan Knill and Keegan Tyers. Knill finished in eighth place at last year’s nationals, while Tyers’ 69 on the final day of competition helped the Grizzlies capture third place.

On the women’s side, the Grizzlies are ranked No. 9.  Jasmine Paton, bronze medalist at the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) championships last season, and rookie Nicole Belcourt will form this year’s team.

The Grizzlies will participate in the OCAA golf championships next week at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club from October 3rd to 5th.
