Barrie, ON – The second season starts for Georgian on Saturday, as the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) rugby playoffs begin when the Grizzlies play host to the Fleming Auks.
The Grizzlies finished the regular season with a 1-4 record, their only win coming in a 38-17 defeat of the Auks in Lindsay on October 5th.
Georgian’s Matt Cotter, Gary Smith and Chris Wood all scored two tries each in the victory.
Game time is 1:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon at the Jim Hamilton Rugby Field at the Barrie Community Sports Complex in Midhurst.
The winner will advance to the OCAA semi-finals on November 5th against the undefeated Loyalist Lancers.
