Road Split for Grizzlies

Peterborough, ON – The Georgian Grizzlies women’s volleyball team earned a split in their two Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) league games on the weekend.

The Grizzlies defeated the Fleming Knights on Friday night, 3-1 (25-18, 24-26, 26-24, 25-13). Hannah Campbell had 16 points (11 kills, 3 blocks, 2 aces) and Bailee Yasher added 15 (13 kills, 2 aces), while Tyrra Grozelle had 10 points (8 kills, 2 blocks) to go along with 12 digs.

On Saturday, the Trent Excalibur beat Georgian 3-1 (21-25, 25-13, 25-13, 25-23). Kelsey Buckley and Bailee Yasher led the Grizzlies with 8 points apiece.

Georgian stands at 3-2 in OCAA league play and will play at Seneca on Wednesday, before returning home to face Loyalist on Sunday afternoon.
