Exploring Business!
Thought you couldn’t get into a business-oriented program because you don’t have all the prerequisites? Not quite certain which area of business would suit your future? The Business Foundations program offers high school graduates the opportunity to learn about core business practices and gain the math skills required to meet admission requirements for Business, Aviation Management or Automotive Marketing. Not only that, you’ll earn four credits during the one-semester program that can be directly applied to your college diploma.
The Program provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to support the academic success in Georgian’s Business Diploma program.
Fundamental theories and skills will be explored in mathematics to prepare students for mathematically-related subjects in Georgian’s Business Diploma Programs. In addition, students will be introduced to marketing, communications and a general education at the post-secondary level and essential introductory courses in the business, aviation or automotive programs.
Students will have an improved awareness of employment opportunities and increased knowledge of pathways to the workplace.
