Students whose success at college may be affected by a disability must contact the Centre for Access upon admittance to the College (See section 2.17 of Admission Policy)

Supports for students with disabilities include:

Skills for Success - Lifestyle Management Course College Credit for Students With Specific Learning Disabilities and / or ADHD

  • Transition into Post Secondary Education
  • Develop academic and learning strategy skills
  • Experience campus and residence life
  • Earn a college credit and reduce fall semester course load
  • Access all the support services available; computer lab; counsellors; disability specialists;
  • learning strategists; career counsellors; and testing services

Tuition for the course is $256 which includes:

  • textbook
  • residence fees

Students need to provide:

  • official high school transcripts
  • official documentation regarding their learning disability

This Transition Program is funded by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.
