Our focus is to support and help you gain the knowledge and skills to be a successful student while at Georgian and after graduation in your professional career.
- Counselling: College life can be exciting and challenging. Whether coping with academic difficulties, a traumatic event of stress a counsellor can help resolve problems that may be interfering with your academic success or personal life.
- Disability Services: for students facing the challenges of physical or learning disabilities, there are services available such as adaptive technology to help with reading and writing challenges, instructional and test accommodations for both long and short term needs.
- Peer Services and Tutoring: If you encounter academic difficulty trained tutors are available to help you on an individual or group basis for a small fee.
- Testing Services: Testing accommodations for students with disabilities are provided as well as admission and placement testing and external client exam proctoring.
- Adaptive Technology Services: Training and support for students with disabilities on current adaptive technology is provided.
- Career Services: services are available to assist with resumes, cover letters, interview skills and job search. Information on job postings, career resources and events is also provided.
