Take some time off from your usual routine and enjoy a dining experience in the Georgian Dining Room.

The Georgian Dining Room is known for its gourmet dining and great service. We’re open for lunch and special themed dinners throughout the year. You can expect a memorable dining experience whether you’re joining us for lunch, looking to host a dinner event or joining us for one of our dinner events.

Large groups and walk-ins welcome; however, reservations are highly recommended.

The Georgian Dining Room will be closed for boot camp from March 20 to April 2. Bun on the Run will be open. The last week of winter semester service will be a Spring buffet. This will run from April 13 to April 17.

Open to the public The Georgian Dining Room is open to the public for lunch service Monday to Friday for one seating at noon.

Live learning lab During lunch service, Culinary students prepare gourmet meals and Hotel and Resort students provide excellent service. The Georgian Dining Room offers elegant cuisine without the expensive price.

     The GCulinary student cooking in the kitcheneorgian Dining Room features:

Bun on the Run is prepared and served by Hotel and Resort students. All meals are freshly prepared throughout the morning and ready to go between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Stop by Room E109 to get a delicious lunch at an affordable price. Enjoy a soup, salad, sandwich, wrap or entrée.

During the summer, join us for lunch in the John Molson Courtyard. Lunch seating begins at noon. Reservations for patio seating are recommended. Jette Cosburn of Bear Creek Secondary School raised $3,800 in just one night. Here’s what she had to say:  “We had a lovely time and it was a pleasure dealing with all of the staff!” Scott Garrett of the Oro Minor Hockey League raised $2,058.75 in just one night. Here’s what he had to say about their successful evening: “Thank you to you and your staff for helping us out and providing an excellent evening. I am sure we would like to book it again for next year. I have marked my calendar for September to arrange a date in April for next year. Thank you again, great job.” Leni Johnston of the Barriecudas wrote a thank you letter to staff of Georgian Dining Room for contributing to the successful fundraising gala. Amanda Sproule of Barrie Minor Hockey Association (Atom A) have shared her feeling about the fundraiser happened on Friday, Aug. 26, 2011: “I would like to thank you for your help with our team’s fundraising dinner/dance. We received numerousbmha logo compliments for the food and facilities. Everything went off without a hitch. The staff were great and helpful and quick to respond to all our needs. The food was amazing and no guest left hungry! We were able to raise $6,800. It was a great success.”

Ignatius D'Souza

Ignatius D’Souza C.C.C., Executive Chef Chef D’Souza, known among his peers as “Iggy”, has been tantalizing taste buds in the hospitality industry for more than 20 years. He embarked on his culinary journey in Bombay, India. After completing his apprenticeship, he set sail for Miami and the Caribbean working on various cruise ships. Chef D’Souza had the pleasure of working with Chef Anton Mossiman in Bermuda and is the recipient of the Certified Chef de Cuisine, Canada’s highest level of culinary education.
