Motorcycle licensing in Ontario
Graduated licensing in the province of Ontario provides for three levels of Class M (motorcycle) licensing, namely M1, M2 and M (full class).
The first step is to obtain the M1 at a Drive Test Driver Examination Centre. This level has limitations for motorcycle riders (eg. daylight hours only, no passengers, no highways over 80 km/hr). To move to M2 and drop these limitations, successful completion of a driving test (M1 Exit test) is required.
