The RN Medical/Surgical Refresher program has been designed to meet the needs of registered nurses that have been out of active nursing practice. This part-time, 466-hour program meets the province-wide, standardized curriculum demands and offers nurses up-to-date information about the ever-changing, dynamic field of health care.
Admission Requirements
All applicants must fall into either of the following admissions categories:
- Nurses who hold a current registration (RN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Nurses seeking renewal of registration and who have a Letter of Assessment from the Colleges of Nurses of Ontario.
Current CPR and completion of the Georgian College immunization form is required prior to clinical placement.
