Summer Accommodations - Front LobbyGeorgian College Residence is located at 101 Georgian Drive and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During the summer season, Georgian Summer Suites offers accommodation open to the public from May through August.Check-in anytime after 4:00 p.m. and check-out prior to 11:00 a.m.Electronic access cards will grant you access to the building, to your suites and to your bedroom. Front Desk will have the option to deactivate any lost or stolen cards and replace lost or broken cards for a fee of $10. Internet access is available throughout the residence in each bedroom and meeting room.More detailed information is available upon request.Special RequirementsThere are two barrier-free rooms availabe. All eight floors have a large lounge area that contains four couches and a television. This area will be a gathering point for the floor. These areas may also be used as breakout rooms for conferences or groups in house. To arrange the use of a lounge exclusive to your group, please contact Conference Services.
Cooking Facilities
Each suite contains a kitchenette area with a full-size fridge, microwave/convection oven, cupboard and counter space with sink, table and chairs. Two stoves with ovens are available in another cooking area on the first floor, that is open to all guests in the building.
Laundry
Summer Accommodations - Self-Serve Laundry Facilities
Coin-operated laundry facilities are available on the first floor of the building near the lounge area. Regular washers and the dryers are $1.50/load and the front loading washers are $2.00/load.
Newspapers
A complimentary copy of the Barrie Examiner is available in the paper box by the Front Desk of the Residence.
Sports Facilities
Located behind the hotel is a multi purpose sports court, along with two sand volleyball courts. Volleyballs and basketballs are available at the Front Desk for guests to sign out.
Smoking
Georgian College promotes a healthy environment. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. There is a no smoking policy in all guest rooms. A refurbishing charge of $150.00 will be applied for infraction of this policy.
Pets
Conference Services is a pet-free property. Refurbishing fees will apply if animals are on-site.

Georgian Dining Room (GDR)
Whatever your taste or pleasure, the Georgian Dining Room and the Hospitality and Tourism Department are sure to satisfy your cravings.The GDR offers special bookings for Corporate, Private, Special Events and Gourmet to Go. The John Molson Courtyard will be open, weather permitting.

Athletic Centre
Fitness Centre - Barrie Campus
The Georgian College Athletic Department is an exciting part of the Barrie campus. The current athletic facility consists of an 8,300 sq ft gymnasium, a 1,900 sq ft fitness area, male and female locker rooms and a sports field. The fitness centre is open to the public and has special rates for Summer Suite guests. The soccer and baseball fields are also available for day rentals. Bits and Bytes
Bits and Bytes Computer Store is located on the first floor of C building inside the Bookstore. It is your one stop location for academically priced software, and computer sales & services of all major brand hardware. The bookstore is located on the first floor of C Building selling textbooks for all courses offered at Georgian College. Grenville Copy Store
Fast and convenient full or self service copying is offered right on campus. Located centrally, in ‘C’ building, adjacent to the cafeteria, it can’t be missed. Grenville offers professional results for all copying needs:
