Mark Earth Day with campus clean-up April 22

Employees and students alike are invited to celebrate Earth Day April 22 by helping to clean up the Barrie, Orillia and Midland campuses.

At the Barrie Campus, as a reward for pitching in to help make the campus more beautiful for spring, the College’s Environmental Sustainability Committee is offering all participants a free lunch.
Here’s all you need to do:
• Organize your friends and colleagues to take part.
• Bring along gloves, rakes and shovels if you have them
• If you’d like to start with lunch, please RSVP to earthday@georgianc.on.ca (if you’d like a vegetarian meal, be sure to note this in your e-mail). Note: RSVP before Monday at noon.
• Show up at the Alumni Courtyard at 12:30 p.m. ready to eat and ready to pitch in for the afternoon.

Orillia Campus:
A campus clean-up day is also planned, including a lunch for participants. Check with Angela Foster for details.

Midland Campus:
Clean-up day is in the works. Check with campus administration for details.

Owen Sound Campus:
Staff and student representatives will be handing out Georgian eco shopping bags at a local supermarket. Check with campus administration for details.
