Reduce the juice: It’s Energy Conservation Week in Ontario
May 18 to 22 is Energy Conservation week in Ontario and at Georgian College.
Across all campuses, Physical Resources staff will be taking the lead in dimming or shutting off non-essential lighting in such area as hallways, to help in the campaign. All staff and students also have their part to play.
Every day this week, practical tips that everyone can put to use right in the office are being e-mailed to all staff. Please try to do your part.
Physical Resources will be monitoring hydro use and should be able to tell at the end of the week how much less “juice” the college has been able to use.
