Home to the Boating Centre of Excellence and more . . .
A $1-million fundraising goal which was successful met in 2007 allowed Georgian to invest in a new Boating Centre of Excellence at the Robert Hartog Midland Campus. Thanks in large part to donations from the members of the Ontario Marine Operators Association (OMOA), this Campus is completely revitalized and enrolment in many of the skilled trades programs has dramatically increased. The OMOA’s members invested in Georgian because they needed more skilled workers for their workforce, and today, they are seeing the return on that contribution with every graduating class resulting in qualified candidates for their hiring pools.
