Program description
This program prepares students with the knowledge, skills and professional competencies required for the esthetic industry. They will be able to provide advanced spa modalities such as makeup and skin, body and hand/foot treatments.

There is a brand new purpose-built facility equipped with an infared sauna, Vichy shower, locker room and current equipment such as cool laser, radio frequency and IPL (intense pulse light).
Placement opportunities
The Georgian Spa will include private treatment rooms where students can gain experience in hands-on treatments. Students will also be encouraged to seek volunteer experience in the community.
Lab/professional experience
Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs will cover various roles of the spa industry. Students will gain experience as both a treatment provider and client.
Employment
Students who have graduated from the Esthetician program may have the opportunity to work in different types of spa settings, retreats, private salons or day spas. This could lead to a Manager or Director position in time.
Entry-level salary range: Jr. Esthetician $12/hr + commission, Full-time Sr. Esthetician $14-16/hr + commission
