The brand new state-of-the-art optical store offers a wide variety of sunglasses and brand name specs. Tint your prescription lenses, add ultraviolet protection, order custom clip-on’s to match your frame, or go urban chic with Transitions lenses.

Georgian College Optical is now located on the first floor of the Sadlon Centre for Health and Wellness in room M153 at the Barrie Campus. 

Hours of Operation

Fall semester:

• Monday, Tuesday,  Thursday and Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Wednesday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Georgian College Optical runs two student-led clinics each week:

• Wednesday afternoons: eyeglass clinic (including eye exams and assisting the Optometrist)
• Friday mornings: contact lens lab
