Program description
Paramedics are engaged in one of the fastest growing and most important professions in modern health care. Being able to provide quality medical care from “fast response” teams greatly improves the situation for patients in need of immediate help.
Georgian’s program is delivered in two years, four semesters and includes 126 hours of supervised hospital clinical and 434 hours of field placement with an Ambulance Service in the region.

Georgian offers state-of-the-art lab facilities in the Sadlon Centre for Health and Wellness. Faculty and instructors are all currently practicing Paramedics and experts in the field.
Placement opportunities
Students have placement opportunities in the hospital/clinical setting, as well as rideout experiences with Ambulance Services.
Lab/professional experience
Our brand new Paramedic lab features a driving simulator, two high-fidelity human patient simulators, a simulated ambulance in the lab and a functional ambulance in the campus parking lot.
