- Secondary or high school transcripts with proof of graduation, subjects taken, and grades received
- Math and English credits are required at the Grade 12 level
Graduate Certificate Programs
- College or university transcripts with proof of graduation, subjects taken, and grades received
- Resume outlining work/volunteer/internship experiences
- Letter of intent stating reason for applying

English Language Proficiency
All applicants for whom English is a foreign language must provide proof of language proficiency.
Acceptable language proficiency tests include:
- Georgian College’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program with a GPA of 65% or higher
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)– internet-based test: minimum 80 (Code: 9740)
- International English Language Testing Services (IELTS)
- Diploma/Certificate programs – IELTS with 6.0 overall and no band below 5.5
- Degree, Graduate – IELTS with 6.5 overall and no band below 6.0
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing with York University – IELTS with overall of 7.0 and no band below 6.0
- Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) – 800
