Welcome to Kempenfelt Conference Centre

Kempenfelt Main Building called CTMCKempenfelt Conference Centre is located on the shores of Kempenfelt Bay, Lake Simcoe, just south of Barrie, Ontario. It features a beautiful, natural setting on 15 acres, including 1500 feet of private shoreline.

We offer a variety of facilities and services for your conference, meeting and accommodation needs, including both indoor and outdoor recreational activities. We also offer all-inclusive residential and day meeting rates.

Our facilities feature lakeside accommodations, a dining room and lounge, as well as a 180 seat hall, 10 meeting/classrooms and 10 seminar/breakout rooms. There are four buildings on site, each with its own unique characteristics, to accommodate your group’s individual needs.

All of our meeting and breakout rooms are individually climate controlled and all come equipped with the latest in standard a/v and support equipment. All of our main meeting rooms have windows and are designed with the client in mind!

Kempenfelt’s dining room and lounge has 2 Certified Chef’s de Cuisine and an extraordinarily talented team lead by Executive Chef, Harvie Pittman C.C.C. Breakfast and lunch are buffet style and dinner is full course with 3 entrée selections and table service.

Kempenfelt’s Challenge Course  (PDF) is designed to be an enjoyable learning exercise in group problem solving. This challenge focuses on group dynamics and encourages discussion which will help improve team skills and relate these experiences to the workplace.

This 7-station low impact course takes approximately 1 1/2 hrs to complete and is accessible May 1st to October 31st, weather permitting. Each station encourages participation, cooperation and fun and will enhance decision-making, communication and leadership skills.
