Georgian College Culinary, Wine and Service students serve up international cuisine
Second-year students in Georgian’s Hospitality and Tourism programs will heat up the Georgian Dining Room (GDR), Barrie Campus, with their annual international theme dinners this March and April.
Culinary students, together with Wine and Service students, will prepare and serve a series of eight dinners with international themes.
The dinners are all-inclusive and include an hors d’oeuvres reception and multi-course meal with a selection of wines to complement the cuisine. Menus and wine pairings will be prepared and designed by students as the culmination of their education in the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation.
International themes include European, Asia/Pacific, Mediterranean and cuisine from the Americas.
Each event starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $49.95 per person, per dinner (plus applicable taxes) or $120 for three dinners (plus applicable taxes). With the purchase of three dinners, attendees are entered into a draw for a $50 GDR gift certificate that can be used at any GDR event.
