Georgian’s Opticianry program recently hosted an optical trunk show outside the Barrie Campus Library Commons.

Students and faculty members were on-hand to showcase the latest fashions in eyewear and frames from various fall collections. Those who purchased frames at the show received a 20 per cent discount.

The program runs two stores – College Contacts and Georgian Optical – out of the “B” building in Room B115 next to Alumni Hall. Services offered through College Contacts and Georgian Optical include everything from ocular health assessments and refractions to filling prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses.

COLLEGE CONTACTS HOURS OF OPERATION

• Wednesday, 8 to 9 a.m.
• Thursday, 10 to 11 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m.
• Friday, 2 to 3 p.m.

GEORGIAN OPTICAL HOURS OF OPERATION

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
