More help for Haiti

Georgian staff and students have an opportunity to help assist the Haitian relief efforts by donating cash this Thursday.

Georgian’s Paramedic students have invited Global Medic to the Barrie Campus. The organization is helping the relief effort in Haiti. Global Medic members will be in front of the library on Feb. 4, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to talk about their role in Haiti is and how the funds raised will help. Cash donations can be dropped off to Deanna at the front desk of in the Health Sciences office (E 203) before Thursday, or at the Global Medic information booth. Tax receipts will be issued for donation more than $10.

 A Karaoke night is also being planned for The Last Class on Feb. 19. Tickets are $5 per person and will go on sale beginning next week.
