Georgian College Orillia Campus hosts Career Week workshops

Job Connect Orillia will host a series of career-related workshops during Canada Career Week (Nov. 2 to 6) to help prepare students for the workplace.

DATES AND TIMES

  • Monday, Nov. 2, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., drop-in resumé and cover letter clinics, Career Centre (room A200).
  • Tuesday, Nov. 3, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., hourly WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems) certification sessions, Career Centre (room A200).
  • Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1 to 4 p.m., Take Our Kids to Work Day, Career Centre (room A200).
  • Thursday, Nov. 5, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Third Annual Volunteer Fair, cafeteria.
  • Thursday, Nov. 5, 3 to 8 p.m., Service Excellence certification workshop ($20 fee). Register in the Career Centre (room A200).
  • Friday, Nov. 6, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Interview Extravaganza, Career Centre (room A200).
