Course registration is now underway for the long-awaited university credit courses at Georgian’s Owen Sound Campus this fall.

The Laurentian University courses are presented in collaboration with the University Partnership Centre.

The courses are structured in two parts, running in fall 2009 and winter 2010. They include:

  • Introduction to Writing and English Studies 1 (ENGL1706), Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. with instructor Catherine Den tandt.
  • Introduction to Psychology (PSYC1106), taught by Emiko Yoshida, Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m.

Availability of the English and psychology courses at the Owen Sound Campus is a first step in exploring methods of providing Grey-Bruce residents with access to a wider variety of educational opportunities.

For more information and admission requirements, contact Carol McLuhan at cmcluhan@georgianc.on.ca or call(519) 376-0840, ext. 1839.
