Georgian employees invited to Administrative Professionals Week event in Barrie
The Barrie and District Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) will host an Administrative Professionals Week event at Fendley’s Banquet Hall in Barrie on Wednesday, March 24.
The event includes a dinner and a presentation by motivational speaker Rosita Hall (pictured).
Hall graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in social work and has won numerous awards for her ability to inspire and lead organizations through turbulent times. In 2000, she started her own speaking and consulting business.
Since then, Hall has been a regular on the international speaking circuit. She was named First Lady of the Year for her distinguished service in her community; in particular, for her work with abused women and their children.
The event also includes a 50/50 draw and a variety of silent auction items. Below are details of the evening:
- Registration and silent auction: 5:30 to 6 p.m.
- Dinner: 6 to 7 p.m.
- Break/end of silent auction: 7 to 7:15 p.m.
- Presentation by Rosita Hall: 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.
- Wrap-up/silent auction finale: 8:15 to 9 p.m.
The IAAP offers administrative professionals training and information on developments in the industry, leadership summits, monthly guest speakers, discounted Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) registration and the opportunity to connect with other administrative professionals through networking events.
