Women Forging Futures: Getting Started in Skilled Trades at Barrie Campus Jan. 23

Georgian College and Simcoe County Women in Trades will present Women Forging Futures: Getting Started in Skilled Trades at the Barrie Campus on Saturday, Jan. 23.

Participants will get an opportunity to speak with local tradeswomen, apprenticeship representatives and employer counsellors. The free event gets underway in the Rowntree Theatre from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Simcoe County Women in Trades is a volunteer organization dedicated to the success of women in skilled trades. Their goal is to provide support and resources through networking, education and mentorship.
