On Thursday, Nov. 12, the University Partnership Centre (UPC) at Georgian college hosted the fifth annual “Experience the Reality” at the Barrie Campus.

Approximately 175 senior-level high school students and their teachers from seven high schools were treated to a university lecture by Laurentian@Georgian Psychology Professor, Dr. Nancy Noldy-MacLean. Dr. Noldy-MacLean’s lecture “Experience the Reality – now in 3D!” mesmerized the students and created quite a buzz.Current Laurentian@Georgian student Antonio Fanioudakis and graduate Jenn Barker also shared their experiences of studying for a university degree at Georgian with the audience.

This annual event is an opportunity for local high school students considering their university options to experience a university lecture and learn about the degree programs offered through UPC.
