The master’s degree you want, the convenience you need

Central Michigan University’s Master of Arts degree in Education with a Community College concentration is a U.S. degree taught primarily by Canadian professors. The program will be offered onsite at Georgian College, Barrie Campus, in a cohort format that helps to foster professional networks and personal bonds with your peers. You will benefit, as will your students, from your improved teaching skills and increased knowledge of current issues in education.

A long history of service

For over 20 years, CMU has been the school of choice for many teachers and college administrators in Ontario as well as hospital administrators, military leaders, and others whose focus is enhancing their community. Many graduates have gone on to become accomplished leaders in their fields including college deans and presidents, industry trainers and community leaders.

Building on the knowledge you have gained from your bachelor’s degree and work experience, this master’s degree expands your knowledge of teaching and community college administration.

  • Lunch-and-Learn: Bring your lunch to Room A247 Barrie Campus, noon to 1 p.m. or 1 to 2 p.m.
  • Evening information session: Room K225 Barrie Campus, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
