Smoking Policies @ Georgian
Georgian College is committed to providing a healthy learning and work environment at each of its campus locations.
The following change to Georgian College’s smoking procedure was recently approved by College Council: As of June 1, smoking is NOT permitted at any entrance to College buildings and is restricted to designated locations at each campus.
Please see diagrams (PDF’s) below for location of designated smoking areas at each campus.
Please note: As of June 1, smoking at College building entrances may result in a fine of $50.

Georgian supports World No Tobacco Day
May 31 is World No Tobacco Day. Georgian College supports this World Health Organization initiative that encourages people to learn the truth about the dangers of tobacco use and exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke.
