Canadian Cancer Society Daffodil Days coming to Barrie, Orillia campuses
The yellow daffodil is a symbol that stands for the fight against all types of cancer. Money raised during Canadian Cancer Society Daffodil Days is used to fund leading-edge cancer research and develop improved treatment options.
Georgian’s Barrie and Orillia campuses are helping the Canadian Cancer Society raise money to fund important cancer research by selling bunches of daffodils in March.
Daffodils are now available for pre-order at the Barrie Campus. Cost: $7 for a bunch or $12 for two bunches. Deadline to order is March 15. Pay by cash, cheque or credit card. Deliveries will be made on March 25. To order, contact Rosemary Toth at rtoth@georgianc.on.ca or ext. 1013.
Daffodils will also be sold at the Orillia Campus on March 25 and 26 in the lower foyer, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Cash and carry only.
