This is the update on the faculty bargaining situation as of Friday, Jan. 29.

The Council representing the Colleges at the bargaining table reports that it presented its final offer to the union (OPSEU) this week. The union bargaining team has turned down the offer. However, the Council is asking that OPSEU take this offer to the entire membership for a vote.

The union’s bargaining team has now advised the mediator that it will not be able to respond to the request to hold a vote until early next week.
