By the time you’ve finished reading this post, someone in Canada will need a blood transfusion or blood products.

A single blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives.

Georgian is hosting its inaugural Blood Drive Week (March 15 to 19) with a host of activities at a booth outside Bear Essentials, Barrie Campus.

On Monday, find out what blood type you are. Find out more information on donating blood on Tuesday and Wednesday.

From Wednesday to Friday, buses will take students who wish to donate blood to the local Canadian Blood Services clinic.

This is a great opportunity for students and employees of Georgian to become involved and support the community.
