Upcoming retirement celebrations for Georgian College employees

A number of Georgian employees are retiring this spring.

Managers who know of other retirement receptions are asked to e-mail Melissa Scanlan Smith at mscanlan@georgiancollege.ca. They will be included in an upcoming edition of Capsule.

Here’s a list of celebrations we’ve received to date:

  • Reception for Margo Renwick: The First Class, Barrie Campus, Thursday, May 20, 3 to 5 p.m.
  • Reception for Owen Sound Campus employees Trevor Davies, Janet Flynn, Sheila Kazarian, Deborah McCoubrey, Linda Richardson and Wayne Wright: Georgian Dining Room, Owen Sound Campus, Tuesday, May 25, starting at 4 p.m.
  • Reception for Norm Hannon, Physical Resources: Room K323, Barrie Campus, Tuesday, May 25, 1:30 to 3 p.m.
  • Reception for Jean Stevens, BScN co-ordinator: Georgian Dining Room, Barrie Campus, Tuesday, May 25, 2 to 5 p.m.
  • Reception for Colleen Boyko and Joyce Cornish: The First Class, Barrie Campus, Wednesday, May 26, 3 to 5 p.m. RSVP to Cora Devitt at cdevitt@georgiancollege.ca or ext. 1335.
  • Reception for Donna Williams: Kempenfelt Conference Centre, Thursday, May 27, 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • Reception for Orillia Campus employees Harriet Curran, Brian Harris, Lee Holford, Deb Irwin and Darlene Mattie: main cafeteria, Orillia Campus, Monday, May 31, 3 to 5 p.m. RSVP to Colleen Lavender at clavender@georgiancollege.ca.
  • Carol Gregory, Library Commons, Barrie Campus. Staff are invited to drop by the library to offer best wishes prior to her retirement date of Friday, May 28.
