Update on Georgian’s employee fundraising campaign for United Way
Georgian recently kicked off its annual United Way employee fundraising campaign.
This year’s goal is $10,000. Close to $5,000 has already been pledged through payroll deduction and the Students’ Administrative Council has raised just under $2,000 through its own special events.
Other activities include the recent Time for Change and the Penny Auction at the upcoming Robbert Hartog Midland Campus Nov. 20.
Staff may still contribute in a single payment or through payroll deduction starting in the first pay period of 2010. Your donation can be designated to a specific charity, such as the College’s Power of Education Campaign.
Simply request that your contribution go toward Georgian College on the pledge form under the “gift distribution” section (on the reverse of the white copy of the form). This way you can support both campaigns.
Pledge forms and brochures have been mailed to all employees. If you haven’t received a package, contact Hank Thibideau at ext. 5284.
Completed forms may be submitted to Hank in Corporate Marketing and Communications (room C262, Barrie Campus).
