Georgian staff and students are reminded that Remembrance Day ceremonies are taking place today, Thursday, Nov. 11.
At the Barrie Campus, participants are asked to gather in front of the Administrative Building entrance by 10:40 a.m. to see the personnel from CFB Borden march in, followed by a service.
The Orillia Campus ceremony will begin at 10:45 a.m., at the flagpole in front of the campus.
Owen Sound will have its ceremony starting at 10:50 a.m. at the main entrance by the flagpoles.
The Midland Campus does not have a ceremony, but staff and students may attend the service at King and Ellen Sts. at 11 a.m.
Those at the Collingwood Campus may wish to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies at the museum on St. Paul St., starting at 10:40 a.m.
Staff and students at the Orangeville Campus may participate in the ceremonies at the town hall, beginning at 11 a.m.
The Muskoka Campus will be honouring Remembrance Day with a minute of silence. Alternately, staff or students may view the parade which forms at the arena at 10:30 a.m. and heads to the cenotaph in Memorial Park on Manitoba St. for an 11 a.m. ceremony.
