Bob Kennedy is the Vice President, Marketing and Student Services at Georgian College. He joined Georgian in July 1990 as Director of College Information Services, later re-named Corporate Marketing and Communications.

Bob is part of a talented and dedicated team in Marketing and Student Services whose key functions include Corporate Marketing and Communications, Student Services (including counseling, co-op education, Students’ Administrative Council, student residence and housing) and Library Services.

Bob previously worked in the public and private sectors of the marketing and communications field. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism, Honours degree from Carleton University and worked in Halifax and Ottawa as a radio and television news and sports broadcaster.

Bob resides in Barrie with his wife, Debbie. They have three grown children.

Bob was a recipient of the Georgian College Board of Governors’ “Award of Excellence” in May 1998.
