CODA Communicative Disorders Assistant
Communicating success
Working with people who have speech, language or hearing disorders is a specialized field. Georgian's post-graduate Communicative Disorders Assistant program will give you the skills and experience you need to begin your career. Over the three semesters, you will learn how to work in co-operation with speech-language pathologists and audiologists in a variety of settings. You will learn the theory and gain practical experience to work through remediation programs with clients once a specialist has diagnosed them and determined a treatment approach.

Our highly qualified faculty are well known for their experience, and their ability to work with students to put theory into practice. Our program includes two field practica in which you will gain hands-on experience and learn more about career possibilities. This is a post-graduate program, you must have a two-year college diploma or a university degree to apply.
Careers
Our graduates are in high demand. They're working in such position as assistants and technicians in many different agencies and organizations. They're working in rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, clinics, school boards and others.
