Special features such as field trips to Toronto, New York City and London, England, provide rich and varied sources of design inspiration and give views of cultural diversity. Guest lecturers, such as professional interior designers, as well as manufacturers' and suppliers' representatives, augment the program offerings. The Interior Design Resource Library, located near the interior design studios, provides current product catalogues, literature and samples of furnishings, textiles, lighting, hardware, interior finishes and other interior products to support student project work.
Careers
The 2-Year Diploma provides basic training for work in the capacity of an interior design assistant or interior design technician. Many of our graduates work in the fields of kitchen and bath design, and residential interior decoration.
