This program meets the educational requirements for registration as a Social Service Worker in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Unique to Georgian, exciting interactive audio-visual counselling labs will allow students to develop and practice a tool kit of counselling skills in a safe environment. A concurrent field placement model that blends theory classes with hands-on practical experience is an essential part of employment preparation.
