WETC Welding Techniques
Follow the Current
From the classroom to the shop, the Welding Techniques program will provide students with the most-current welding skills and knowledge thanks to an in-depth curriculum and updated shops. This one-year program will provide students with basic welding techniques that will prepare them to test for welding tickets.
What's Special
Students will study a variety of topics that will help them succeed after graduation. These topics range from health and safety, blueprint reading and sketching and all position pipe welding. Furthermore, students can gain confidence and skills with ample time spent in a state-of-the-art welding shop practicing MIG, TIGG and Stick processes.
Careers
Graduates may find a range of occupations in the welding field, including manufacturing and fabricating, automotive and heavy equipment production, automation and construction.
