Each year, students in Georgian’s graduate certificate Research Analyst program apply the knowledge and skills they learn in class to real-world problems by carrying out major research projects in partnership with community agencies and organizations.
Help celebrate the academic accomplishments of our students as they become graduates this winter. Convocation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29 at the Barrie Campus. Volunteer ushers are required from noon to 2 p.m.
On Feb. 13 and 14 the Students’ Administrative Council at the Barrie Campus will be selling roses outside of the Library Commons for $2 each or six for $10.
The Georgian Dining Room (GDR) is a live learning lab and one of Georgian’s best kept secrets! Hotel and Resort students provide service and Culinary students prepare gourmet meals. Have lunch with colleagues during the week or mark dinner in your calendar for March 5, 19 or April 16.
The Accounting Services department at the Barrie Campus, Room C327, will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 13.
The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) named Georgian student Natalie Buck as Athlete of the Week and the men’s basketball team as Team of the Week.
More than 350 Georgian and Laurentian students flocked to the Barrie Campus Jan. 31 for the annual University Transfer and Degree Fair. Luckiest visitor of all was Vicki Noseworthy who won the door prize at the event, an iPad2.
