Bob Kennedy, Vice President, Marketing and Student Services, will retire from Georgian College effective July 6. You’re invited to a celebration on June 27 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Georgian Dining Room at the Barrie Campus.
Sam Bilamjian has joined Engineering Technology’s full-time faculty complement. Sam will be teaching in the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning (HRAC) program. He started at Georgian on May 7.

Jordan Barber has stepped in to replace Ruth Vesterback this semester as the Fitness Co-ordinator at the Barrie Campus. Don’t worry, Ruth has not gone far; she is still teaching fitness classes and providing personal training sessions for members.
Gabe Koopmans is the successful candidate for a one-year term of Acting Dean, Engineering Technology and Environmental Studies, and the lead dean for the Owen Sound Campus. Gabe will officially assume her new responsibilities Jan.30 following Bob Emptage’s retirement last week.
