Make reservations for a Father’s Day lunch or dinner barbecue buffet by the bay. Advertising for the Kempenfelt Conference Centre’s popular event begins June 1. The event was so successful last year that organizers decided to make it an annual initiative. Staff, students and alumni have the opportunity to book their reservations now.

The Centre for Applied Research and Innovation (CARI) participated in a leading-edge technology and research trade show at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on May 14 and 15. As part of the trade show, Georgian featured some of its exciting applied research activities, projects and innovative student researchers.
Bun on the Run will be open during the summer semester at the Barrie Campus on Thursdays starting May 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Georgian Dining Room will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting May 29 with one seating available at noon.

On May 16, Orangeville’s Centre for Career & Employment Services (CCES) team participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario. Wearing custom-made shirts to help promote the new Shelburne Employment Resource Centre, CCES staff and their families enjoyed a fantastic afternoon participating in the event.
On May 16, students, staff and faculty from Georgian’s Muskoka Campus kicked off the first long weekend of the summer by making their own ice-cream sundaes.
