On behalf of the Board of Governors, I am pleased to report that Georgian College is one step closer to hiring its next President and CEO.
The Georgian College Presidential Search Committee is thrilled with the applications and interest it has received so far in the quest to find a successful candidate for the position of President and CEO.
The full position profile for Georgian’s President and CEO is now available on the presidential search website. The profile includes priorities, challenges and opportunities for the President, as well as candidate requirements.
The search for a new Georgian College President and CEO is well underway thanks to feedback gathered through broad internal and external community consultations in December. Read an update from Charlotte Wallis, Chair of the Board of Governors.
The Georgian College Presidential Search Committee is engaging in a community consultation process to establish the criteria for the search and guide committee’s evaluation and recommendation of candidates. Staff members are still welcome to submit their comments in writing to the executive search committee regarding four key questions.
Town Hall meetings were held at the Barrie and Orillia campuses on Friday. If you were unable to make those meetings and cannot make the one at the Owen Sound Campus on Monday, Dec. 12, you are welcome to submit comments in writing to the executive search firm.
