Your timetable lists your courses and their corresponding CRNs (Course Reference Number). You can find your required texts at the Current Students Book Search page page prior to commencement of classes. Textbooks are ordered based on enrolment projections. Books that remain unsold after the first four weeks of the semester may be returned to the publisher, so don’t delay purchasing your required texts.

Book order

Finding your book may be a little confusing at first, books are arranged alphabetically, starting with A in the far left corner, and top left to bottom right of each shelving unit.

Special Orders

The Bookstore can special order books for you. Please provide as much information about the book as possible. Title, author, publisher, edition, ISBN etc. Special orders are usually received within 10 business days. Remember to leave a phone number so that we can contact you when your book arrives! Books that are not picked up in a timely fashion will be returned to the publisher.

Book Buyback

The Georgian College Bookstore does not “buy back” books. However, a third party is typically on site at the end of each semester to purchase your used text books. Books are purchased based on current demand for each title, there may not be a market for an individual text if it has gone out of publication, there is overstock with the publisher etc. If you plan to resell your textbooks, be sure to keep them in good condition, minimize highlighting, pen or pencil markings, and keep all included course materials, especially CDs, with them.

We don’t buy back workbooks.
